Meghan Kirk is a personal friend of mine. She went to school in Orange County, until she moved to Utah. She did a internship with Snowboarder Mag, and is one hell of a photographer. How old are you? 21
Who are your favorite photographers?
diane arbus, blotto, pretty much any snowboard photographer.
how old were you when you first started photography?
i remember always carrying around a camera in middle school
did you always know that this is what you wanted to do?
i did, kind of, i knew i loved snowboarding and i always liked documenting my life but i never thought about it as a career until high school.
what are some of your favorite things to photograph?
i really like beat up and run down buildings. grafitti. a lot of urban things, and snowboarding and skateboarding.
What kind of camera do you like to use?
I usually use a Canon 1d mark III but I have a love for film, and like my holga and film Canon rebel. I also love the 4×5.
What is that you love most abut photography?
it sounds cheesy but capturing a moment in time, i love documenting my life or a trip. I lke how a photo can bring back so many memories.
Do you have a dream job that deals with photography? if so what is it?
I really want to be a snowboard photographer and be able to make a living doing just that. It would enable me to travel around with a group of people just to snowboard. sounds perfect.

U-N-I??
Who are these guys?
U-N-I is a group that comes out Inglewood, LA. They have been putting stuff together now for about 6 years now. There most recent main stream exposure was at the 2008 MTV awards where they were named “Breakout LA Artist”. These guys are tight in my opinion, they have a cool vibe to them and there sound is real soulful. There videos keep it real artsy which is also a plus.

Rob Dyrdek does it again with his anti cursing collection, Rob and Drama spent some time at a retirement home after he cussed out his mom. He was in search of what the hottest alternative curse words are for the old folk, during this search he had planned to design a new collection for DC based on the new love for alternative words. If you keep up with fantasy factory you would have seen the fasion show that he did when he introduced the line to the good people at DC. During this he only boasted his T Shirt’s and Flannels, in recent cruisng of the DC website. I found the FUDGESICLE hoodie, and some fresh DC kicks to match that are a new arrival for the Life Collection.
